Investment in Lions 2026 & Beyond

South Australian Government invests in Lions 2026 and beyond.

The Government of South Australia has committed $20,000 in funding to support the Lions MD 201 National Convention 2026 – Inspire Service: 2026 & Beyond, to be held in Adelaide in May 2026.

This significant investment highlights the State Government’s commitment to supporting major events that drive community engagement, volunteering, and economic benefit across South Australia.

The four-day convention, taking place from 22–25 May 2026 at the Adelaide Showground, will bring together Lions members, Leos, partners, and guests from across Australia. The event will showcase leadership development, community service initiatives, innovation in volunteering, and the enduring impact of Lions in local and global communities.

The Convention Committee is incredibly grateful to the South Australian Government for recognising the value of this national event. Their support strengthens the ability to deliver a high-quality, inspiring convention experience while also contributing to the vibrancy of Adelaide as a host city.

Beyond supporting the convention program itself, this support acknowledges the broader economic and social contribution that national events make to the State — attracting visitors, supporting local businesses, and highlighting South Australia as a premier destination for conferences and community gatherings.

The 2026 Convention will feature keynote speakers, leadership forums, service showcases, networking events, and celebratory functions that honour the Lions spirit of We Serve.

With the support of the South Australian Government, Lions 2026 & Beyond is set to be a landmark event — inspiring service, strengthening connections, and shaping the future of Lions across Australia.
